Your First Data Synthesis Run

Generate your first batch of synthetic data and understand what the platform just did.

Each step is something you can do in the platform right now.

Step 1
From the dashboard, open Data Synthesis (Studio → Data Synthesis).

Step 2
Select the demo dataset from the library, or upload your own CSV.

Step 3
Choose Matflow Statistical as the mode — the safest first choice.

Step 4
Set "rows to generate" to about 3× your dataset size.

Step 5
Run the job and wait for completion on the Runs page.

Step 6
Open the run detail and download the generated dataset.

Pro tips
What experienced users wish they knew the first time.
The generated dataset appears in your Datasets list marked "synthetic" — you can tell it apart from your upload at a glance.
Generation is fast; the evaluation step that follows is where the real quality judgment happens.
