Share Matflow. Earn cash.
Every researcher you bring gets a head start, and every month they stay subscribed, you earn real money. Commissions land in your balance instantly — and from $25 you can cash them out via PayPal or bank transfer.
How it works
Get your link
Every account has a personal referral code. Open Settings → Referral program and copy your link — no signup, no approval, no paperwork.
Share it
Drop it in a lab group chat, a conference talk, a paper acknowledgements section, or your lab newsletter. Every landing on your link is tracked.
Earn as they run
New signups via your link get free compute credits instantly. When they buy their first subscription you get a $10 cash bonus — and 10% of their plan in cash, every month they stay.
The rewards
| Event | Reward | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Their first run | 2,500 compute credits on signup | Paid instantly to the new user — a real taste of the platform. This is the gift that makes your link worth clicking. |
| Their first subscription | $10 cash for you | One-time commission when a referral's first paid plan completes. Real money, paid via PayPal or bank transfer — or switch to credits and take it as compute credits with no minimum. |
| Every month after | 10% of their plan, in cash | Recurring while they stay subscribed. $39 Standard → $3.90/mo into your balance. |
| Level up | 15% at 3 referrals, 20% at 10 | Your recurring commission grows as you bring more paying researchers. |
Who should join — and how to share
Four audiences that reliably convert — each with a ready-to-use line you can paste.
Your lab runs on compute. Your referral code pays for it.
- Share the link in your group channel — every member who subscribes earns you 10–20% of their plan in cash, every month.
- A 6-person lab on the $39 Standard plan at the 10% tier ≈ $23/month in commission. Level up to 20% and it roughly doubles.
- Attribution lasts 90 days per click, so even a slow-burn email to your network converts.
You already tell people about the tools you use.
- One link in the lab group chat, a conference poster QR code, or a mention in your acknowledgements — that is the whole job.
- A handful of referrals compounds: 3 paying referrals unlock the 15% Pro tier, 10 unlock 20% Elite.
- The signup bonus means your link is genuinely good for the person clicking it, not just for you.
A link in your bio can pay for your tools.
- YouTube, Substack, X/Twitter or LinkedIn posts about computational chemistry reach exactly the people who subscribe.
- Recurring commissions keep paying for as long as your audience stays subscribed — a 10,000-view video that converts 0.1% of viewers is 10 paying referrals (Elite tier).
- Commissions are real cash, paid via PayPal or bank transfer once you pass the $25 minimum.
Every newsletter is a referral engine.
- A dedicated mention or a P.S. line converts better than banner ads — your readers trust you.
- Include the link in your resources page or a "tools we use" section so it keeps earning without new effort.
- Same 90-day attribution window means one well-placed mention can convert readers for months.
Cash payouts
Earn cash commissions
Every first subscription pays you $10, and you earn 10–20% of each referred plan in cash — month after month, as long as they stay subscribed.
Request a payout
Once your balance passes the $25 minimum, hit request. Connect a payout account once (bank or PayPal, ~2 minutes — Stripe verifies it) and money moves automatically; the balance is held while pending so nothing is ever paid twice.
Get paid
Automatic Stripe payouts land in your bank or PayPal as soon as the request is approved. Manual payouts (PayPal/bank details you provide) are sent within 5 business days; rejected requests free the balance.
Commissions are real cash from the moment they accrue. Keep them in your balance or cash out any time — the affiliate dashboard shows your exact balance and lets you request a payout in two clicks.
Questions
Do I need a paid plan to be an affiliate?
No. Every free account gets a referral link. The people you refer get compute credits on signup; your commissions are cash, paid via PayPal or bank transfer.
What counts as a paying referral?
A person who signs up through your link and completes their first paid subscription (Standard, Premium, or Enterprise). Credit-pack top-ups and team-seat purchases don't count.
How do payouts work? Do I really get real money?
Yes. Your $10 first-payment bonus and 10–20% recurring commissions accrue as a cash balance. Once it passes the $25 minimum, request a payout — connect a bank or PayPal account once (Stripe verifies it) and the money is sent automatically on approval, or provide PayPal/bank details for a manual payout within 5 business days. Your balance is held while a request is under review, so nothing is ever paid twice.
How long does attribution last?
90 days, last-click wins. If a visitor clicks several links, the most recent click within the last 90 days gets the credit — a stale first click never beats a newer one. After 90 days, a signup without a fresh click is not attributed to you.
Can I get my rewards as compute credits instead of cash?
Yes. In Settings → Referral program you can switch your reward preference to credits: instead of the $10 cash bonus, you earn 10–20% of each referred first payment as compute credits (1,000 units = $1), added to your balance immediately with no $25 payout minimum. Approved academic accounts default to credits; you can switch any time.
Can I refer myself or use fake accounts?
No. Self-referrals are blocked, and accounts created to game the program forfeit their rewards and can be suspended. Signups that come from a referrer's own device or IP are flagged automatically — the signup is allowed, but the referrer earns nothing from it. Payout requests are reviewed by a human; rejected requests free the balance for a legitimate one.
Your lab already has a link. Go get it.
Referred friends get promotional compute credits on signup; your commissions are cash, paid via PayPal or bank transfer ($25 minimum, within 5 business days of approval). Abuse (self-referrals, bulk fake accounts) forfeits rewards and may suspend accounts. See the dashboard for full terms.
